We were really delighted to welcome former RAF pilot Squadron Leader Dave Linney to our March Patrons meeting held at Key West on Bournemouth Pier. Currently flying with the Bremont Great War Display Team we will be seeing Dave and his colleagues gracing the skies during this year’s Air Festival as they perform the great war dog fight re-enactments on Saturday and Sunday.
Dave enthralled Club members with a detailed and witty account of his life in the RAF flying Harriers, Hunters, Canberra and Hawk aircraft as well as civilian Falcons out of Bournemouth airport.
Our very own ‘Biggles Bailey’ gave a vote of thanks to Dave and the team at Key West Bar & Grill for their excellent hospitality.
