On Tuesday 29th May we welcome Dave Barrell, pilot with the Super Aerobatics Wingwalkers, the world’s only formation wing walking team. The wingwalkers are seen live by over 6 million spectators each year in the UK alone. They perform a breathtaking sequence of acrobatic manoeuvres and handstands whilst strapped to the top wings of the team’s beautiful Boeing Stearman biplanes. Having been a Team member since 2006, Dave now has hundreds of shows under his belt and absolutely loves the thrill and challenge of flying close formation in low level wing walking displays. After 10 years, he is still as keen as ever to come to work! He loves all aspects of his job as no two days are the same, from flying at airshows to performing engineering tasks.
